Mid Autumn Festival Celebration

It's the mid-autumn festival day. Have been spending this Chinese celebration three times and this is the forth time I spend it with my family here in Malaysia.
How I wish, my family in my home town can come here and celebrate the moon cake festival together. Too bad it's not possible for now.

Grandma's cooked so much food for this special day that I think it's totally over, but she was planning to ask the other family member to bring home some of those food, so I guess it will be okay. So here's what's for dinner.

All the food were good! Everybody enjoyed the food. After finished dinner, we continued to the next session of the moon cake festival - The lantern and candles.
Not really an exciting thing to do but I was having fun in there, taking pictures, hanging the lanterns and looked at my cousins arranging the candles.

The most fun part was the cooking. I know that inside everybody heart there is always that child-side which always want to play and have fun no matter how old they are. And that's what we all were doing, making scramble eggs using the old way of cooking.
The old way of cooking was using the fire, stone and some steel bowl. (Modify the bowl into steel bowl - lol). The idea came from one of my uncle.

It was funny because we all were more excited with the cooking process than just playing with candles, anyway everyone enjoyed it. Making scramble eggs and mixing it with some soya sauce and pepper seemed to be a very fun and amazing thing to do. lol

My auntie was the tester for it (actually she wanted to eat it) lol. So after done making it, we served it for her. Surprisingly, she said the scramble egg was better than her breakfast. lol.

After that, we had a few good chat with each other. It's been quite sometime, the family gather together and had a chat. Somehow it's really a great night to spend the time with the family. :)

P/s: yay!! got mochi and mooncake xD lol

P/s: I always have that little-kid-wants-to-have-fun side in me no matter how old I am. :)
