The money minded people

It has been almost two weeks I had been working, and I was being introduced to new people with new behavior and personality.
And this is related to money.



I am not saying that money is not important. Of course it is. It is a token to survive in this world, without it, it is hard to get what it is needed to survive.
I ll be lying, if I say I don't need money.

During my internship, someone used to say this to me, "money is not the top priority in life's but everything in this world needs money"

It rings true until now, and I definitely agree with it.

Currently, I experienced something that is completely new in my working place. Money minded people.

I made new friends and discover that, some of them set the first priority in their life is money.
I tried to be a good listener here, since they complained about their hard situation such as not enough money, the accommodation fees are expensive in the capital city of Indonesia, and so on. Some of them even give me some reasoning like, "I really need it for my beauty, especially my face cream product"

This is something that I found interesting to listen, but a little bit annoying, since all they did is complain. next, they started asking or I can say "borrowing" money.

I just knew them for less than two weeks and they started giving me those reasoning and asking me to lend them a helping hand to cater their needs.

I refuse them.

My top priority is my family. I am not kind enough to give generously to someone who I barely knows well.

For the record, I dislike people who just can complain about how hard to survive and do their job, but never give their best in their work.
