Hectic Day: Shopping at a Mall!

Shopping can be a war sometimes.
Today I went for a swim in the morning at a friend place. I spent around an hour swimming, and my speed has decreased and my breathing was uncontrollable. “I’m getting older.” That’s what crossed my mind; another thing is I didn’t train myself as often as I was young (around 8 years old).

I’m no longer that hyperactive kid who can spend 4-5 hours of swim in the water. Well, life moves on. This is what I called aging.

After I finished my swim and talks with my friend, I went to do some shopping. I can honestly declare that I don’t like shopping especially when it is on public holiday or the weekend. The malls will be even more pack, but since this is the only free time I have, so I force myself to get what I want because I needed it.

Perhaps I’m not a shopaholic girl. I’m amazed with those girls who can just buy any stuff and update their wardrobe every week. They are amazing because they are willing to fight every week to get the latest design of shoes or clothes. But me, I will be thinking “When will I wear this if I buy this?” I’m not a party type of girl and when I hang out with friends or family, my dress-code will be an ordinary T-shirt and knee length pants or long jeans. That’s all.

So today, all the shops that I entered were kind of pack and most of the customers are girls. They were hunting for the big sale. Due to the large number of people in each shop, I felt headache. Perhaps this is because lack of oxygen. Another thing is people keep on pushing and squeezing. Well, that’s seriously not okay for me. This is like war.

I came out from a few shops empty handed and I was ready to give up because I feel extremely headache already. While walking, I saw a shop with not so many people, well I tried to go inside and found the stuff that I needed. The price was cheap. It was below RM 20. So I get one. After that I headed back home. I had spent two hours of war and it was not a good experience.

I wonder how those girls wearing those high heels can survive in that kind of situation? I guess they are talented and expert in shopping and hunting for the big sale.
