On 13th of September, I met two of my very old friends from junior high school. It was a very new experience for me because the time we didn't meet was 10 years already.
It started with an Instagram message that I got from one of my old friend, as usual she was asking whether it is okay to arrange a meet up plan with me. At first, I was quite reluctant to agree but decided to come. Then she gave me an info that we will be meeting with "her" as well. The other girl here is my another old friend which I had lost contact for so long.
Since I finished my uni, I actually tried to search and contact her but can't found it. So when my friend says that she was coming, I was a little surprised but anticipating the day to come sooner.
So we met in our ex-tutor place during junior high at 3 pm. I came earlier at the meet up place around 2.30 pm and waited for quite some time. My first old friend came and we chit chat a little and did some catching up stuff, then I met her, my second friend which had long gone and yes looked so different in appearance and the funny thing was I felt kinda different too.
So then, we met our tutor and spend quite some time there talking and reminiscing the old times and updating about the moment now and giving details about our life in general. It was good to talk about the old times and making new memories with them. My tutor was a mathematic teacher in my first year of junior high school before and she was 75 years old this year and still look the same.
After spending time in our tutor place, we went for dinner together and did some girls talk there. Catching up was good and I realized we changed a lot. Our perceptions, our way of thinking and our plan for the future. Well, there were still few things that stay the same though. Some habits and way of talking never dies. haha
I still remembered clearly that my first old friend still can't differentiate what is cheap and expensive when come to buying things. This never change from junior high.
As for my second long lost friend, she still loves to drink tea without sugar and expressive. Well, never dies as well. And many more that I notice the small habits that never change.
Perhaps me too for some habits I didn't change.
Well, it was good to meet them and it was good to reminisce the time when were in the same time environment, school and goal. Though I can't remember all of the memories very clear, but I know we had experience good and precious times and we kept it in the heart.
Thanked them for becoming part of my life journey. :)
